Lieutenant
Hired as a patrolman in 2000. During this time, was trained and educated in as many facets of this position as possible including, but not limited to, traffic collision investigation, interview and interrogation techniques and motor carrier vehicle enforcement. Also was given a position on the regional Emergency Response Team (SWAT) to have served in various capacities, mostly entry work but also progressed to administrative duties as well. Was certified as a Field Training Officer and is responsible for all aspects of Law Enforcement secure information system (JNEt) including certifications of officers, validation of records and integrity checks. Has been a senior officer for several years with supervisory responsibilities. Promoted to Lieutenant in January of 2020.

Training Officer
Originally hired in 1994, as a call taker. Was responsible for directing incoming 911 calls to the appropriate PSAP or police agency for which the agency served. From that point was promoted to police dispatcher then fire dispatcher and was finally promoted to Training Officer, a full time position which was held until 2010. Duties included quality assurance, training of new and present employees, developing lesson plans and scheduling.
